Failed ‘Star’ Found in Sun’s Backyard

Article Link
A NASA space telescope named WISE (Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer) found a Brown Dwarf moving rapidly through space. After identifying the speedy movement in March 2013, Luhman and his team analyzed it and found out its temperature and speed as well as what it was. This Brown Dwarf was named WISE J085510.83-071442.5. It is about 7.2 light years from the Sun. This article was written by Janet Raloff on 9:07 A.M on April 30, 2014. It was reported by NASA on April 25th, 2014.

Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality is good for the public but it would be better without a code. How are you supposed to look at what is happening on the screen when it's blocked by the code? I just don't see the sense in it. Perhaps without codes we can go a long way and advance. Maybe we can even have robots for everything if we keep this up. I think it's a lot like Tony Stark's 'holograms'. I wonder if we can make it interactive (like when it's inside the room, not watch it on a TV). What do you think? Is this good for us? How can you make it better? What are your thoughts on this?

JawBone

I think JawBone is good for us. But it records your life. And sometimes things have to stay private. JawBone updates onto the computer. Other people can access your computer if they accidentally got your password or the scanning your computer goes through when you get a cookie online or something similar. And I would prefer it if it only had a camera and video. If it also had a projector which projected holograms/pages on a screen, it would be wonderful. Personally, I don't care and I probably won't buy it because I love my laptop enough and besides I hate sports and I probably won't ever do sports. What do you think? Is it good for us? Bad for us? Do you like it? Why? What changes would you want to make?

Robots

Robots are good for the society and helpful but what if something wrong happens? What if the wrong wire gets plugged in and suddenly the robot is a mad-mass murderer? What will we do then? We won't be able to do anything because robots are better at technical things than us and most likely will be able to kill us before we could do anything to them. And if it doesn't happen, then what will happen to us humans? Not all of us will be able to afford it. So some will probably stay illiterate. People like high school kids who sometimes take up jobs won't be employed because robots will be employed instead. Poor people who will be illiterate won't be having any jobs. And those who could afford the robots will be taught by the robots so there won't be any need for school. So there won't be school and poor people who can afford school but not robots won't be able to learn. Are we really going to take up the mantel of making 'people'? Are we going to call ourselves 'God' then? And forgot our culture and religion in our success because apparently everything is science not religion? I urge you to think about this...

Opinion on Camera License

Do you think a camera license would be good for nations? Personally I think we need some privacy. I mean, invading a family or a individual's life just because they're the government is unfair!!! The government is supposed to be there for the public! They are there for the public's benefit and advancement of our technology and our life and more!! But this is too far, invading people's privacy for them is not satisfactory. Please comment!!!
